Last Updated: July 9, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of our student WordPress hosting service (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.

1. Eligibility and Verification

  • The Service is exclusively available to students.
  • Student verification via a valid college or university ID is required.
  • Accounts will be valid for one year from the date of verification and may be renewed with an updated ID.

2. Usage Scope

  • The Service is designed strictly for development, staging, or academic use only.
  • Production or commercial websites are not permitted.
  • Users may create unlimited websites, with billing per site.
  • Discounts:
    • No discount for up to 2 websites
    • 8% discount for up to 25 websites
    • 16% discount for 26 or more websites

3. Resource Allocation

  • Each website is limited to 2 GB of NVMe storage.
  • Unlimited bandwidth is offered under a fair use policy:
    • Excessive usage that impacts server performance or affects other users may lead to throttling or suspension.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

  • Host illegal, pirated, or copyrighted content without rights.
  • Host malware, phishing pages, or any form of malicious code.
  • Run crypto mining, proxy/VPN services, or botnets.
  • Engage in abusive behavior, including attempts to attack or disrupt servers.
  • Use automated scripts or tools that strain resources (e.g., aggressive crawlers).

5. Responsibility

  • Users are responsible for the content they upload or host.
  • Backups are not guaranteed—users should maintain local copies.
  • Accounts found violating the policy may be suspended without prior notice.

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
