These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our student WordPress hosting services (“Service”), operated by Decasix (“we,” “us,” “our”). By signing up for or using our Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • The Service is strictly available to verified students.
  • Verification requires a valid college/university ID or other acceptable proof of enrollment.
  • Account validity is one (1) year from the date of verification and may be renewed upon re-verification.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login credentials.
  • You agree not to use the Service for impersonation or fraud.

3. Service Description

  • Hosting is provided on OpenLiteSpeed WordPress environments, suitable for:
    • Academic projects
    • Development or staging environments
    • Portfolios and non-commercial learning sites
  • Not intended for production or business-critical workloads.
  • Each website is allocated:
    • 2 GB NVMe storage
    • Unlimited fair-use bandwidth

4. Pricing and Discounts

  • Pricing is per website, billed monthly.
  • Bulk discounts are automatically applied:
    • 0–2 sites: no discount
    • 3–25 sites: 8% discount
    • 26+ sites: 16% discount
  • Prices are flat and transparent with no hidden fees.
  • No refunds are provided once payment is completed. See Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Host illegal or copyrighted material without the rights
  • Operate phishing or malware sites
  • Run proxy services, mining operations, or botnets
  • Abuse system resources beyond fair-use limits

6. Privacy

Your data is handled securely and only used to deliver and improve the Service. For complete information on data handling, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Billing and Termination

  • You may cancel services at any time from your dashboard.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
    • Violation of these Terms
    • Failure to verify student status
    • Abuse or resource misuse
  • If terminated, no refund will be issued.

8. Service Availability and Maintenance

  • We aim for high uptime and performance, but occasional downtime for maintenance or upgrades may occur.
  • We are not liable for temporary service unavailability or data loss.
  • Backups are not guaranteed; users are responsible for exporting and maintaining their site backups.

9. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your website content.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, display, and maintain your website solely for operational purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided “as-is” and “as available.”
  • We make no warranties regarding uptime, security, or error-free performance.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Loss of data
    • Business interruption
    • Third-party plugin or theme issues

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms as the Service evolves.
  • Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • We will notify users of major changes via email or dashboard announcements.
